Our customer was developing a new energy drink. They had the formulation, but that was where it ended. They needed all packaging designed, microbiological testing developed, and stability testing completed. They came to MSI to help launch the product.

We worked with several bottle suppliers to identify the containers. This was not an easy task given the look that the customer wanted to attain.

The look had to clearly differentiate their drink from the “typical “existing energy drinks. Yet it has to resemble what the customer thinks an energy drink looks like, so that they can, immediately, at a quick glance, recognize it as an energy drink on a store shelf.Two bottle sizes were part of the product line; a 2 oz ready to drink shot and a 32 oz concentrate. The concentrate comes equipped with a dispensing pump where there is the additional requirement that it look intriguing in a bar setting, where it competes with many other attention getting designs.

In addition, working with our wide array of suppliers, display trays were designed to meet the needs of point of purchase display.

One of our strengths is working with you to identify both short and long term needs for your launch. In this case, small runs of pressure sensitive labels were used for the launch quantities. Shrink sleeves will be used for the ongoing, high volume production. We will work with you to identify your specific needs and hit the price points needed for your products to be successful.
