A What?

Heat Shrink Steam tunnels, as we all know, are solid insulated structures made of stainless steel and typically cost about $30m to start, plus significant installation cost for steam supply.

Using a wooden steam tunnel is like driving a plywood car to work.

But suppose your new product is packed in a large, unusually shaped, container that won’t fit through anyone’s standard tunnel?

A new customer came to MSI wishing to develop a new line of green, natural cleaning products. This presented several challenges:

• Develop cleaning formulations that were truly effective and also green.
• Develop unique, attractive functional packaging for the complete product line
• Create sales samples within two weeks

A new customer came to us in the process of rolling out a new product line of cosmetics but struggling with some issues. Like many others, the seemingly lower cost of offshore production in China was tempting and they had had product produced there.

Now sadly were they were experiencing significant product packaging quality issues. Customer returns were costly, but much worse than that; they were losing customers due to the quality problems. This is a premium priced product, even in the cosmetic world, and as such, quality issues are a very significant negative to the consumer.

Our customer was developing a new energy drink. They had the formulation, but that was where it ended. They needed all packaging designed, microbiological testing developed, and stability testing completed. They came to MSI to help launch the product.
